The User ID is the name you will enter when signing in to your account. It must be unique, i.e. a name which has not been used before by another user, you can check this by pressing the Check User ID button.

The Email Address is the address which your registration confirmation, listing confirmations, and site news and updates will be sent to. It must also be unique; you can check this by pressing the Check Email button.

Select a Subscription Type. Portrait Australia gives Artists a choice of two subscription types (note; all new registrations receive a three month free use of the site). The subscription types are fully explained in the Partner Artist area of the site.

Select your Artist Categories. The Artist categories are the categories which appear under The Artists section of the site. You may appear in up to two categories. If a category doesn’t exist which describes the type of artist you are then please contact us and will create a new category for you.

Please supply an image of yourself, or for the shy you could possibly use an image of your work. The suggested image size is 150 x 150 pixels but the system will automatically resize larger images to the smaller thumbnail size used on the site.

Enter a profile of yourself – this is your opportunity to tell your potential customers about yourself and your art, it’s also your opportunity to help the search engines find your page by using keywords to get their attention (keywords and Search Engine Optimization are fully explained in the Partner Artist area of the site).
